A Curious Harvest: The Practical Art of Cooking Everything, is a new cookbook from The Gleaners’ Kitchen published in August 2014.

The Gleaners’ Kitchen is an underground restaurant and grocery store of sorts based in Somerville, MA. We turn waste into wealth by making fresh, wholesome meals from food that others thought was garbage. Our ingredients come from dumpsters. We prepare them and give them away freely. There are no price tags.  This is not a place of commerce, where you pay something to get something. Our aim is not to produce commodities but to foster community. We contribute to the community by providing food and (hopefully some day) space. We hope that you feel compelled to give back to show gratitude for what you have received.
